Security

Academia has 24 hour boom access as well as cctv cameras in and around the premises.

Security officers are extremely strict adhering to Academia rules without fail.

Student residing at Academia must use the University-issued student card to gain access at the turn-style gates.  Students need to register their motor vehicles at the office in order to obtain a 'license-type' disc required for vehicle access. The disc needs to be displayed on the vehicle's front windscreen at all times.  No non-Acedemia resident's vehicles or 3rd party parking will be permitted.

Security officers monitor access to the Academia premises. No 'visitors' are allowed to drive into the premises, however, outside parking and walk-in access upon sign-in at the security gate will be permitted.

In addition to the entrance security officers, patrol officers roam the premises.  They are easily identified by their high-visibility vests and name tags.
