Free blood glucose level tests

Have your blood glucose level tested free of charge During Diabetes Awareness Month in November 2011. Diabetes can lead to blindness – yet all we need to test for it is a single drop of blood. Early detection is the most effective tool in the prevention of the effects of diabetes, which also include kidney failure, nerve damage and loss of limbs, among others. In fact, if treated appropriately, many of the effects are avoidable.
