1. GROUNDWORKS

  • Landscape paving - Approved brick paving.
  • Stormwater channels - Open stormwater channels combined with a drainage pipe system. A stormwater channel system built with shingle to form part of the landscaping (Similar to the "Meulsloot" in Stellenbosch).
  • Roads and Parking areas - Combination of brick paving, tar and gravel (Elevated brickpaving pedestrian crossings).
  • Landscaping by landscape architect.

2. ROOFCOVER

  • "Coverland Renown" Terracotta cement tiles or similar approved by architect

3. CEILING

  • Ceiling panels - Skimmed rhinoboard, standard "Rhino Plain Scotia" cornice (Top floors of apartment blocks).
  • Concrete soffits - Off shutter concrete.

4. ISOLATION

  • 50mm fibreglass isolation installed on top of ceiling brandering.

5. CORNICES

  • Standard "Rhino Plain Scotia " gypsum cornice.

6. EXTERNAL WALLS

  • Bricks - Cavity walls built with maxi size clay bricks.
  • Finishing -1 Coat cement plaster and painted. Plaster thickening and plaster bands.

7. INTERNAL WALLS

  • General - 1 Coat cement plaster. Plastered smooth with a steel trowel and painted.
  • Bathrooms - Specialist waterproofing.
  • Kitchen - Ceramic tiles above sink.

8. WINDOWS

  • Steel frame galvanised and painted.
  • Burglar bars - 8mm galvanised mild steel with white alkali painted finish on sections. Bars fitted to ground floor units and windows facing onto walkways.
  • Bathroom windows - Opaque glass.

9. DOORS

  • Entrance door - Solid core, standard rubber doorstop.
  • Internal doors - Hollow core, standard rubber doorstop.
  • Communal entrance door - Access control security system.
