Accommodation

Each fully furnished unit is equipped with the following:

• Bed with mattress
• Two-plate stove with oven
• Built-in cupboards & bookshelf
• 190L fridge / Freezer
• Desk
• Data point
• Dining room table & chairs
• Existing TV & telephone conduits
• Curtains & shower curtains

You have to supply bedding, cutlery, crockery and anything else you may need. Students are permitted to customize the units within reason. Please enquire at the Academia office for further details.

A fire extinguisher is provided for each unit, as well as fire hoses in the passages. The extinguishers and hoses should only be used in case of emergency. If tampered with a hefty fine will be imposed.

Unit Types

Phase 6

The units in phase 6 have been named 'AA' and 'BB'. The measurements of these flats are identical to that of the type-A's and type-B's from the previous phase. There is very little difference in terms of specifications between the old and new phases, but the phase 6 units do however have an upgraded look and feel. We've replaced the novilon flooring with ceramic tiles and included larger aluminium-framed windows. The fridges are larger and we supply a microwave as well.

We have designed these blocks as such that specific units have a patio and door leading outside from the lounge-area and there are other units that either have a separate bedroom or are typically open plan bachelor-like with no wall separating the lounge and bedroom. Applicants should be senior students whom have proven their ability to behave.
